Customers asked for a really long time when we would make a line of pencils. After doing our best to ignore the request, we finally caved so here we are. The all-metal construction provides an heirloom-quality pencil you’ll be able to pass down to your children. In other words, these ain’t your typical BICs.
Because everyone makes mistakes

We use the Schmidt DSM2007 mechanism that comes in 0.5mm and 0.7mm lead sizes. It’s an all-metal construction with a plastic plunger that’s built to last. Each order comes with an extra pack of the lead and two extra erasers which fit in the back with a friction fit.

Tactile Turn pens are known for their CNC precision machined texture. It’s where our name comes from. The tactile feeling allows you to control the pen exactly the way you want. It won’t bite into your skin but provides just the right amount of grip. It’s subtle, but the textured surface disguises and protects the pens from light scratches much better than a smooth surface.

Tactile Turn was one of the first fully machined pen manufacturers. We don't do injection molded parts like most other pens. We make parts one by one on our computer numerically controlled lathes in our own shop in Texas to turn raw materials into finished goods. People buy our pens because they want an item with simple and elegant design made from amazing materials that will withstand daily use for life.
