Slider Bolt Action Pen

Slider Bolt Action Pen

The Slider is the shorter of the two bolt action models we make. If you’d prefer a more “average” sized pen, you will want to get a Glider. Unless you have really large hands, either the Slider or the Glider fit well in your hands.

All Slider pens come with a Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 medium point with black ink and will fit all other "Parker style" refills.

All of our pens are proudly machined in our facility outside of Dallas, Texas in the USA. We start with premium materials and turn them into finished goods. We use high end CNC equipment to bring the best quality to you, our beloved customers.

Bolt

The main piece that makes these pens really interesting is the bolt action. I use a shape unlike any other pen out there. It is one fluid motion to advance or retract the refill. Because the surfaces of both the interior part and the inside surface have been carefully machined to be extra smooth, the action feels amazingly satisfying.

Titanium

Titanium is the best selling of all of the materials we work with. It is not quite as light weight as aluminum, but significantly lighter than stainless steel, brass, and copper. Titanium is tough, lightweight, and extremely corrosion resistant. All parts of these pens are made from titanium except the clip which is stainless steel. If there is one material I suggest over all others, it is titanium.

Stainless Steel

The alloy of stainless steel we use is extremely tough and corrosion resistant and should last for generations. This is truly an heirloom quality pen that will take any abuse you can give it and still look great. It has a brighter silver color where titanium has a little more gray color to it. All parts of these pens are made from stainless steel.

Copper

Copper is the heaviest material these pens are made from. They’re still reasonable at 2.2 ounces, but if you want a lightweight pen, copper is not for you. We do not coat any of our pens, so this material will patina and darken with time and use. This is one of the coolest properties of copper - it ages and richens with time.

The copper content in the alloy we use is extremely high so it has the best natural antimicrobial properties for those of you that want a pen that you can let others use and still feel like you don't have to scrub grime off every day. All parts of these pens are made from copper except the clip and bolt which are stainless steel.

Brass

The alloy of brass we use has a fairly high copper content so it has many of the antimicrobial properties that copper does. It machines beautifully and as you see the machining videos of these pens you'll see why I like to work with it. All parts of these pens are made from brass except the clip and bolt which are stainless steel.
